Pensacola Beach Drum Circle

The Pensacola Beach Drum Circle is a community event that is a new tradition for the area. Every Sunday about 4 hours before sunset the beach comes alive. Hundreds of people join in a circle to create a local phenomenon. In this circle, you’ll hear the sound of bongos, maracas, harmonicas and drums, see people dancing to the flow of the music, observe children playing happily within the group and watch hula hoops and belly dancers sway to the beat of the drums. This is the best place in the sunshine state to take a swim in the ocean then dance in the sand. BYO chair, cold beverages, drums, shakers, etc. This is a free beach event & open to everyone.

This beach event at Pensacola Beach is located beachside from the Landshark bar near the Buffet Margaritaville hotel. Use Landshark parking lot about 1000 feett west of the fishing pier. About 50 or more local drummers meet monthly about hour before sunset on Sunday closest to full moon. Good jam & good people…all ages. Bring your cooler with your favorite cold beverages and come join in the fun.

What is a “Drum Circle”

If you have never experienced a drum circle, you should! It is a celebration of life, community, and music. People sit in a circle while playing drums and other hand percussion’s, all while joining in to create an amazing group rhythm. Many believe that they are an effective tool for relieving stress as well as health & wellness. The circle is a fun, exciting and powerful way to bring people together through music. It’s a breath of fresh air in our fragmented stressed out world.
